A fearful accident happened at Wollongong this morning. James McGoldrick, aged sixteen, was going to work at the Keira Colliery, and attempted to get on to the colliery engine when it was moving at a slow rate of speed towards the mine. The lad slipped and fell on to the lines and three trucks passed over his body. Death ensued an hour later.
