Michael Caffrey was run over and killed by the 7:30 passenger train from Sydney. The body was fearfully mutilated. Deceased was riding a tri-cycle, and, was proceeding towards his home at Fairy Meadow, and when near the Mount Pleasant Company's crossing, the train dashed into Caffrey, killing him instantaneously.
