The SkyCity Restaurant within the Space Needle has been serving overpriced meals in one form or another since its inception at the Seattle World's Fair in 1962.

The Skyline Restaurant isn't for the cheap at heart. Plan on spending a lot of money if you care to eat here. I mean a lot. Seriously. My family of five people ate $500 worth of dinner and dessert. Yep. A once in a lifetime experience that I don't ever care to spend that kind of money on ever again. But hey, at least I can say I ate dinner in the Space Needle.

The following verbiage is taken from the SkyCity Restaurant website to describe what they offer to patrons:

Soak in the sunset over the mountains. Enjoy the twinkling lights of downtown with SkyCity’s rotating panorama. Sample the local tastes of Seattle by Executive Chef Jeff Maxfield. Reap the rewards of the Celebration Club. Best of all, every visit to SkyCity includes a free trip to the Observation Deck! For parties of 5 to 10 guests, please contact the restaurant directly. SkyCity can only accommodate parties up to 10 guests.

Dress Code
SkyCity is the place for celebrations. It’s also a great place to get above it all and have an amazing dining experience paired with spectacular views. So we welcome all – from suits and ties to casual attire. We just ask that, as a general rule, your attire be appropriate for a family environment – no bathing suits, inappropriate slogans on clothing or sleeveless shirts for men.

Building Policy
All bags and parcels are subject to search. For the safety of all guests, weapons will not be permitted in the Space Needle. The only exception to this is law enforcement personnel in the performance of their official duties. The presenter of a ticket consents to a reasonable search for weapons before entering. If you cannot comply with these conditions, then we will not allow you access to our facility.
