EN: This stone with the municipal coat of arms is located in a very little park at the street corner south of the church.
The coat of arms is the former emblem of the Counts of Ferrette, once the rulers of the area, with the castle above town as administrative center. The town of Ferrette has used this symbol since at least 1555, but the colors and other details were not fixed and changed several times. The current appearance is in use since the early 20th century and was made official in 1983. Blason: "Gules two barbels or addorsed".
FR: Cette pierre avec les armes municipales est située dans un très petit parc au coin de la rue au sud de l'église.
Les armes sont l'ancien emblème des Comtes de Ferrette, une fois les souverains de la région avec le château au-dessus de la ville en tant que centre administratif. La ville de Ferrette a utilisé ce symbole depuis au moins 1555, mais les couleurs et autres détails n'ont pas été défini définitivement et changés à plusieurs reprises. L'apparence actuelle est utilisée depuis le début du 20ème siècle et a été officialisée en 1983. Blason: "De gueules aux deux bars adossés d'or".
