This Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Cardston is within the Cardston Alberta Stake and the Cardston 4th, YSA and 7th Wards meet at this location. This is one of five LDS churches located in Cardston and a Mormon Temple dedicated in 1923. The first to be built outside of the United States.
This is a light colored one story brick building though simplistic in design it is well maintained with manicured lawns and tall pine trees.
The free standing spire is at the corner of the building that towers high above the roof-line.

Though currently the population of Cardston is approximately 3,585 residents, it was first settled in 1887 by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints from the Utah Territory.
It was brought to my attention that the settlement of Cardston in 1887 coincided with the prohibition of polygamy in Utah.
