In Terrys Avenue, above the Violet Larsen Reserve is this Water Tower in the rural Melbourne (eastern) suburb of Belgrave (right on the border of Tecoma).

I came across this tall tower while searching for GC5Y8YG geocache, "Winston and Violet" Letterbox Hybrid: (visit link)

Designated as T012 by South East Water, the local water provider, this is a metal reservoir on tall metal legs, so that the locals on this high point will get reliable pressure. I would estimate that the base of the tank is 12 metres off the ground. It is behind a 3 metre high mesh fence, with razor wire on top. It is 'home' to a host of telephone transmitters: (visit link)
