The former Police Station on Andreas Road in Andreas.

Since the closure of this Police Station, the Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team, based in Ramsey, has been responsible for policing in the village.

In July 2017 the Island's Department of Home Affairs made a planning application to convert the Police Station in to a residential property, in preparation for sale. (A copy of the Planning Application Notice can be seen attached to the front door of the building in the default photograph for this way mark).

The building already has a four-bedroom living quarters upstairs, with the former police office on the ground-floor serving as a lounge. The building comes with its own garage and sits in a plot of land.

I have had NO problems with taking photos of Police stations but please respect the fact that some services may be nervous about having their photo taken and inquire as to why... I have found that once things are explained they are more than happy to let me photograph the building, crest, chief... (they are people too!)
