Hercules, or Heracles, was, in Greek mythology, a famous hero and half-god, around whom there are many legends.
Hercules was especially known for its unusual strength.
He was a protege of Athena. Its attributes are the coat of the Nemean lion, the club, the bow and the quiver.
After Hercules burned himself alive because of his pain, he rose to the gods and married the goddess Hebe.
