From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.5 miles. Turn left onto George McAllister Road, FR2060, and continue about 4.1 miles to the intersection with FR1014 at Fivemile Butte. Proceed generally NW on FR1014 for about 0.2 miles to the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on galvanized iron pipe; rising 5" in a collar of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The quarter corner is about 1480' N from the centerline of FR1014 in a burned area, now overgrown with manzanita and Ceanothus. There are PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs mounted on a U-post which bears N, 54" distant. Found two U-posts with yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMNT signs, WNW and ESE from the corner.

Private property E from the corner, else Deschutes National Forest land;
