From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NNW on US20 for 1.0 mile to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on a steel pipe in a collar of stones; rising 5"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The sixteenth corner is W, about 990' from the centerline of US20. There are PROPERTY BOUNDARY signs mounted on two U-posts. One bears S, 34" distant, and the other bears W, 35" from the corner. Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides.

Private property SW from the corner, else Deschutes National Forest land
