Beaverbrook Park is the oldest municipal park in Kanata. Beaverbrook was the first community in Kanata. The park is bounded on the north by a road appropriately named "The Parkway." South of the park is Campeau Drive and the parking areas. East of the park is the school yard for Earl of March High School.
The Mlacak Centre is included in the area of the park: 9.33 hectares or 23 acres. Recreational facilities include eight tennis courts, a fenced baseball park, a full-size soccer field, a smaller soccer field, and a nine-hole disc golf course. An indoor ice surface is available in the Mlacak Centre. In the 1990s, there was also a horsehoe pitch which is now under a parking lot. The running track and the football field belong to the school board property.
