Grace Whiteford was buried in Notre-Dame-des-Neiges on 16 May 2003. According to the 1911 census of Terrebonne, Québec, Grace was born in February 1903. Grace's parents were William-Denis Whiteford and Mary-Ann-Alma Nicholaï. Her parents were married in Notre-Dame, Montréal, on 17 March 1891. In later years, members of the family were part of the parish of St-Louis-de-France, Montréal.

This monument also mentions three of Grace's siblings. Sister Hattie (1896-1957) married Paul Holmes (in 1916) and then Arthur Gibb. Sister Mabel (1904-1986) married Léo Tassé in 1926. Brother Richard Shultz Whiteford (1907-1988) or Ritchie was younger than Grace.
