[FR] Le pigeonnier de Melle se situe à l'intersection du Chemin de la Noël et du Chemin Roule-Crotte.
Il a été construit aux alentours de 1820, sur deux niveaux.
Au rez de chausée, une pièce d'habitation avec cheminée, fenêtre et quelques étagères et à l'étage les pigeons. Sans doute une pièce de vie pour le gardien.
Le second niveau, la tour-pigeonnier était percée de deux à trois cents boulins.
[EN] The dovecote of Melle is located at the intersection of Chemin de la Noël and Chemin Roule-Crotte.
It was built around 1820, on two levels.
On the ground floor, a living room with fireplace, window and some shelves and upstairs the pigeons. Probably a piece of life for the keeper.
On the second level, the pigeon-tower was pierced with two or three hundred bolts.
