This churchyard cemetery is attached to the St Columba Presbyterian Church on the south side of the Laggan-Glenelg Road. The congregation of the Lochiel Church dates back to the 1820s. In the 1840s, some members broke away to establish the Lochiel Free Church which would eventually become the United Church across the road and to the west.
