Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Jaffray is part of the Cranbrook British Columbia Stake established in 1979. This specific church is known as the Jaffray Branch.
Jaffray is an unincorporated rural village in southeast British Columbia with a population of approximately 820 residents. Though most likely not a large following, this is a large church that overlooks the picturesque Lizard Mountains.
The church building is brown brick with a contrasting dark brown roof. On top of the roof is a spire that is unusual as the top portion and insets are black rather than the more traditional all white. The spire has the traditional design as seen in the area.
