A farmer found this boundary stone of the abbey Heisterbach when he was ploughing one of his fields.
The area was in possession of the abbey for nearly 500 years. Heinrich I von Löwenburg had transferred the plot to the abbey in 1333.

The stone carries the letters "HB" and the crosier of the abbey. It was damaged by field machines and was restored after the finding.
One has put up the stone near the early-medieval church arrangement which was found on the same plot.
An info board informs about the boundary stone.
