At one side of the park, close to the ruins of ancient Clairefontaine Abbey, you can find this Outdoor Altar.

The "Autel pélerinages" ("Pilgrimage Altar") was built in 1947 but is probably not in use anymore.

Clairefontaine Abbey was founded by Countess Ermesinde in 1214 and was destroyed probably during the French Revolution.
