The cross stands about three feet tall, with varnish that needs some touch-up, and Mr. Irby's personal dates are done with a wood-burner on the vertical section, separated by lines:

His name, "Paul L. Irby", was done on a steel plate, with the letters cut out to give a silhouette effect, and the plate is attached to the horizontal section of the cross. There is nothing on the back of the cross.
