Streuobstwiesen sind Wiesen, auf denen verteilt Bäume verschiedenster Arten von Obst und Nüssen wachsen. Diese haben an der heutigen Waldau und dem Annaberger Hof Tradition und wurden früher landwirtschaftlich genutzt. Obwohl inzwischen nur noch Reste dieser Wiesen zu erkennen sind, haben sie für die hiesige Flora und Fauna auch jetzt noch große Bedeutung, was auf dieser Informationstafel kindgerecht illustriert und erklärt wird.

Erstellt wurde die Tafel durch die Stadt Bonn und den Naturschutzbund NABU Bonn; finanziert hat sie der Bonner Baumarkt Knauber.
Meadow orchards (German: "Streuobstwiesen") are meadows, on which trees of different kinds of fruits and nuts are alloted. These ones have a tradition at present-day Waldau and the farm Annaberger Hof and were used for agricultural purposes in the past. Although now only remnants of these meadows can be seen, they still have great significance for the local flora and fauna, which is illustrated and explained in a child-friendly manner on this information sign.

The panel was created by the city of Bonn and the nature protection association NABU Bonn. It has been financed by the local DIY store Knauber.
