This is a 4-story brick apartment building which is shown as c.1929 or c.1931. It was placed on the National Register in 2012.

The building faces east, with the facade having four bays. The end bays project slightly to the east, north and south, giving the building a modified "T" shape. The building has three horizontal portions - the ground floor below a cast stone belt course, the second through fourth floors, and the parapet above. The building was vacant in 2012 when placed, but it appears to be occupied at this time.

The metal framed multi-paned window units are surrounded by cast stone moldings. The ground floor level has decorative cast stone quoins at the edges of the bays. At the roof line are crenelations and cast stone coping. Concrete urns are placed at the top of each bay.

Above the front entrance is an ornate metal canopy, secured by chains to the second level. Glass insets are in the decorative metal work. The entrance is a wood door with sidelights. The small porch area has cast stone sidewalls, with bronze plaques reading "Mayfair Apartments" which were placed, most likely in 1952. The building contains 20 apartments.
