A beautiful park on the riverwalk in Sanford, Florida. It honors all of the veterans who have fought for the freedom of this country. Each side of the monument has a quote, reminding us of our freedom and what it might take to keep it. Quotes from Thomas Jefferson, Abe Lincoln, JKF and Patrick Henry catch your eye, and the reflection of the heavens.

Description of Memorial: This memorial park is located on the shores of Lake Monroe in Sanford. This park, although dedicated in 1973, has been through a great change. The monument has recently been placed there, as well as the brick walkway. The walkway around the monument has bricks engraved with the names of veterans.
