In St. Johnsbury, in the center, is St. Andrews Church, which has been around since 1877.
The church is on the west side of Main Street, about a block north of the intersection with Eastern Avenue.
The church is a rambling, wooden structure, with a shingled, octagon-sided steeple on one corner. The entrance is on Main Street. There are several stained glass windows. Near the entrance is a light block about three feet high with a cross (St. Andrew's Cross) and the year, 1877.
