The Shoshone Project: Homesteading Timeline is in the Bever Homestead Cabin as one of the outside displays. The Homesteader Museum is at the corner of 1st Street and Clark Street, just off Highway 14A.

The Shoshone Project: History Timeline follows the footsteps of the Bever Family and historical events that took place during their lifetime.
The timeline starts with the birth of Oro Bever in 1890 to relocating to Wyoming and at the of 22 he files for a Garland Homestead of 67 acres. By 1914 the Garland Division was completed with 450 homesteads. In 1922 the family moved to Powell.
During their life time, in 1942, 10,000 Japanese and American Japanese were ordered to the Heart Mountain Relocation Center, near Powell.
The timeline is completed when the Bever Homestead cabin was relocated to the Homesteader Museum.
