A vertical sundial above the porch of St Peter's church, Copdock.

"Vertical stone sundial set into flint wall above entrance into South porch. The dial shows the time from 6am to 6pm in half and quarter hours. Across the top of the dial the motto reads: “The greater light to rule the day” and “GR 1910-1935”."
