The "Margarethenkreuz" is one of two preserved crosses of the "Bittweg" from Ittenbach to Petersberg.
It is located on "Margarethenhöhe". The cross is 2. 50 m high and from Trachyt. It was established in 1641 by a couple from Ittenbach under assistance of the neighborhood. There is of a graded base with inscription and annual number, a niche with the relief of the holy Margaretha and a dragon as well as a simple stone cross from 1856.

On the front of the lower base is, still well readably, the following inscription:

ZU•EHEREN•GOTTES
VND•S•MARGARETHAE"
