This now combined memorial commemorates the people from Denbigh and the outlying rural area who died in the First and Second World Wars. It was created by sculptor Charles Leonard Hartwell and unveiled in 1923.

The Memorial is located in the heart of Denbigh a pedestrian area known as Sgwar Y Neuadd (New Square)
or Hall Square, or Crown Square, depending on which map or website you use. (Looks like there have been several name changes, over time.)

I have also posted in this waymark, photo gallery, the 4 bronze plaques, featuring the names of those lost in the First World War (Dated 1914 - 1919)
