In 2014, this plaque was sponsored by the Cowley Pioneer Museum/History Center. The memorial cairn is four sided and made of natural stone. It sits on a massive concrete plinth about 12 inches thick. There is a concrete walkway that leads to the memorial, you can enter from the street side. There is nearby a very large tree and nice lawn areas.
Attached to the same side is a Vietnam plaque that was recently placed in 2016.
There are four additional names of those who also served during the Korean War on this new plaque. We honor all Veterans who served our country during the Korean War. I have added their names to this honor roll.

Men of Cowley Who Valiantly Served Their Country
