St Peter’s Anglican Church was built in 1858 of brick in the Victorian Free Gothic style, with a sheoak shingle roof,later covered with corrugated iron, the church was consecrated in 1860 becoming the first permanent church erected in the area.
The church was deconsecrated in 2014 when the ownership was transferred to the National Trust of Australia (WA).
The graveyard has approx 100 headstones plus some unmarked graves, forty of the graves are of the pioneering Fleay family that date from 1865 to the 1980's, other headstones include that of Rev F.Lynch who was responsible for building the church and for 31 years Rector of this Parish, who died March 27th 1889, aged 73
