We came to this 10-acre park to see the WPA construction consisting of a 48 ft. diameter wading pool, a rock bathhouse, four tennis courts and three picnic tables.

We discovered that the bathhouse no longer exists. The 33 ft. by 17 ft. bathhouse was constructed of native sandstone and had a hipped roof. It had a central dogtrot and stood next to a 48 ft. diameter wading pool. This pool is also no loner in existence. The area now contains a very nice splash park, and a replacement restroom facility. A photo of the original bathhouse can be seen on the Google Map still online as of 2017, although the building is now gone. (visit link)

Two tennis courts are still here, on the north side of the park. The tennis court area on th south side has been converted into two basketball courts. The courts are surrounded by high chain link and are lighted at night.

We noted the three rock picnic tables which are on the grounds on the east side of the park. This park is actively used by the local residents.
