FR La chapelle
Les premières traces écrites de l'existence de cette chapelle datent de 1654 et on pense qu'elle a été construite, comme beaucoup d'autres, à l'époque de la peste qui a touché DIGNE en 1629.
En 1909 on la surmonte d'un clocher à trois petites cloches.
Depuis, deux cloches ont été volées, le clocher a été détruit et remplacé par un campanile.

La tradition
Une tradition veut qu'en arrivant à la chapelle, après la longue la montée, on sonne l'heure avec la cloche : 1 coup pour une heure, deux coups pour 2 heures, ...
Il est donc possible qu'en été, ce campanile soit le plus actif de France !
EN The chapel
The first written traces of the existence of this chapel date from 1654 and it is believed that it was built, like many others, at the time of the plague that affected DIGNE in 1629.
In 1909 it is surmounted by a bell tower with three small bells. Since then, two bells have been stolen, the bell tower has been destroyed and replaced by a bell tower.
Tradition
A tradition says that when arriving at the chapel, after the long climb, we ring the hour with the bell: 1 shot for an hour, two shots for 2 hours, ...
It is therefore possible that in summer, this campanile is the most active of France!
