You are on the Bicentennial Coastal Walkway according to this map, whether you planned that, or not. The map looks like a council produced map, showing the individual residential boundaries of the Turimetta Head area.
The sign has the following information on it:
"Pittwater Council
Turimetta Headland Reserve
"The Bicentennial Coastal Walkway is a series of headland pathways and lookouts to form a continuous route which stretches along the coastline between Palm Beach and Manly.
"Turimetta Headland Reserve is a Wildlife Protection Area and has a number of vegetation communities which provide habitat for many threatened and significant fauna species.
"The winter-flowering Banksias attract large numbers of migratory and nomadic honey eaters and lorikeets. The small Raptors, the Black-shouldered Kite (Elanus notatus) and the Australian Kestrel (Falco cenchroides) are often found in this area and large raptors such as the White-bellied Sea-eagle and the threatened Osprey are also occasionally observed."
