There is a wooden jetty right beside the car park that is frequently used by fisher'persons'. This long, but skinny park seems to have a little of everything to entice a short visit.

It seems quite likely that the bitumen track that leads to a side stream into the Wallamba River could have been the earlier Lakes Way road, before being resited to its current position. At the stream you can notice the hanging obstacles used for white-water kayaking practice, as there is a weir up stream that can release a surge of water trapped from tidal differences.
There are a couple of covered picnic tables, each dedicated to a local serviceman. The basic toilet is about 50 metres up the path. A water tap is there.

This had been under the control of the Great Lakes Council, which in 2016 became conglomerated into the Mid Coast Council.
Revisited: 1355, Sunday, 3 April 2016 - for the re-positioning of the "Darawank" geocache. * PLEASE NOTE - Please use THESE coordinates for entry to the park and the cache, and don't try the 'closer', but inherently HARDER route! **
