This is a concrete sculpture located in the grass, just inside the east entrance to the college at the east end of Grand Avenue.

The sculpture stands atop a double brick base, two feet and one foot high, located on a concrete pad approximately 12 ft. in diameter. The sculpture depicts a graduate. He is standing on a globe of the world, with an open book against it. The graduate is dressed in his cap and gown and is holding a rolled up diploma.

A bronze plaque on the base reads:
