On the Elbchaussee in Hamburg stands the bronze-art work "Die Ameisen" (The ants) in honor of the poet Joachim Ringelnatz. The work was created in 2014 by the artist Peter Schröder.
In the spring of 2017 the ants, presumably from metal thieves, were stolen, and this article reports about this crime.
