In St. Johnsbury, along U.S. Route 2, is this sign for the Dog Chapel.
The sign is situated on a mowed lawn, across the street from the Fairbanks Scale Company building. It is on the east side of Spaulding Road and north of Route 2.
The sign is about 11 ft tall - approx. 5 ft high wood sculpture on a 6 ft stone base. It features three dogs and a woman walking. Two of the dogs are medium sized and the center one is larger. Each dog is differently colored. The dogs are proportionally wide to their length while the woman is definitely thin face on compared to her profile.
The artist was or was inspired by the artist who founded the Dog Chapel, Stephen Huneck.
