FR Suite à la chute du clocher des Récollets, mécontents de n'entendre pas suffisemment les heures sonner à celui de la cathédrale, les habitant du quartier de St Pierre firent part de leurs doléances à la municipalité. Celle-ci fit édifier en 1859 l'actuel clocher surmonté d'un campanile en fer forgé.

Ce clocher est une tour carrée, sorte de Campanile dont le dernier étage est doté d’une horloge, le tout coiffé d’un dôme en fer où se trouve placé un timbre.

Je n'ai pas trouvé de point de vue pour les 4 faces car les rues sont hautes et le clocher dans le centre ancien mais pour 2 au moins, on peut voir une pendule ronde avec des chiffres romains pour les heures et une ouverture devant le "9" dont je ne détermine pas l'utilité. Pour la 3eme face, je ne sais pas mais la 4eme est un mur puisque le clocher est collé à un batiment aussi haut que lui.

EN After the fall of the bell-tower of the Récollets, dissatisfied with not hearing the hours sounded enough to that of the cathedral, the inhabitants of the district of St Pierre expressed their complaints to the municipality. It was built in 1859 with the current bell tower surmounted by a campanile in wrought iron.

This bell-tower is a square tower, a kind of Campanile, the top floor of which is equipped with a clock, all covered with an iron dome where a stamp is placed.

I did not find a point of view for the 4 faces because the streets are high and the bell tower in the old center but for 2 at least you can see a round clock with Roman numerals for hours and an opening in front of the "9" whose usefulness I do not determine. For the 3rd face, I do not know but the 4th is a wall since the bell tower is glued to a building as high as him.
