"The organ is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the Rhineland, has 2 manuals of 10 registers and 8 pedal registers, probably in the core of the 1717 (Baroque) organ as a swallow's organ on the northern choir wall at the height of the Ambo Of the sacristy in 1820. The organ builder, Engelbert Maaß, was added to the tower floor by the organ builder Engelbert Maaß in 1820. The organ builder Johannes Müller from Viersen enlarged the new main unit by an independent pedal system, so that now 27 registers were available The organ had suffered a great deal during the Second World War, as did an earthquake in 1951. In the course of the stabilization of the vault on the central aisle, the Ottoman organ builder Paul Ott undertook a thorough renovation in 1953/54 and gave it back the baroque atmosphere Took place in the years 1970 - 76 by the Hellenthaler organ building Company Weimbs. Using the old prospectus a new enlarged one was created by the sculptor Heribert Trimborn; Gangolf Minn (Brühl) gave the organ a new color version. "
