After playing for only 22 minutes, Elvis had to be whisked away by the police due to the excited teenage girls that came down Vancouver's first big concert. And it would turn out this would be Elvis' last concert outside the United States.
Today Empire Stadium is gone, however, the importance of the location for hosting many big stars is commemorated in a sign overlooking the Emprire Fields.
