The Lawton Almy Hall Farm is one of the most complete early farmstead remaining in Rhode Island. The property includes the house, nine outbuildings, and 40 acres of land. The house was built in two main sections, one dating to the late 17th, early 18th century. and the other added in 1800. With few exceptions, the land ownership has retained and survived its original purchase.
