The cross on the street corner "Rathausstr./Rhinegasse" is the oldest roadside cross of city of Niederkassel.
It was established on the 24. 4. 1788 by Anna Margaretha Scholl and Jakob Moll. An info board of the "Kulturpfad der Stadt Niederkassel" delivers information and the explanation of the inscription.
The cross is 2,5m high, well preserved and still today a station for religious processions.
