Het kunstwerk beeld een molenaar uit die de wieken van zijn molen op de wind zet. Het werd gemaakt door kunstenaar Hans Jouta en onthuld op vrijdag 20 september 2013. Het kunstwerk is geplaatst ter herinnering dat er ooit een molen heeft gestaan in Beetgumermolen. Deze molen is in 1862 verbrand en niet weer opgebouwd.
The artwork depicts a miller who puts the winds of his mill on the wind. It was made by artist Hans Jouta and revealed on Friday, September 20, 2013. The artwork has been placed in memory of the fact that there has been a mill in Beetgummolen. This mill burned to the ground in 1862 and was not rebuilt.
