In Holliston, but the Holliston Town Hall, is the Central Burial Ground, the oldest in town.

The cemetery is located along Washington Street, by the intersection with Elm Street.

It is a rectangular plot with grave markers in rows. According to Findagrave.com, there are over 900 graves.

A sign at the cemetery has the following text:

"Herein lie buried many of the original settlers, the first three ministers, many victims of the Great Sickness of 1754, veterans of the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, prominent citizens, benefactors and others - worthy of rememberance."
