This Royal Canadian Legion Branch is located in Port Rowan, Ontario, just off of Centre Street. The branch is designated number 379 and is named after General Cyril Blacklock.

Cyril Blacklock fought in the Boer War and First World War. Born in 1880 he joinged the King's Royal Rifle Corps and fought at the Orange River Colony during the Second Boer War. In 1904 he emigrated to Port Rowan after resigning his commission in India.

He returned to England in 1914 at the start of WWI and rejoined the King's Royal Rifle Corps. By the end of the war he had become a Major General, received the Distinguished Service Order, became a Companion of the Order of the Bath and Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George.
