A Jewish cemetery is mentioned for Wesseling for the first time in 1783. Whether this is identical with the cemetery preserved even today, is unknown.
The funeral place was already used before 1783 and was acquired in 1797. The cemetery was extended in 1862 and used till 1940. On the cemetery 81 gravestones are received. A stone tablet was established by the municipality of Wesseling.
The cemetery is put down as a monument number 9 on the "Denkmalliste Wesseling".
