The Green Plaques Project, an initiative of the Berry and District Historical Society, was officially launched on Thursday, June 29 2017.

An official unveiling was held at the Berry Museum. Eleven historical buildings in Berry now have circular, bronze green plaques installed. Each plaque features a brief summary of the building’s history.

The plaque is worded:

The Anglican Church

St Luke's Anglican Church was opened in 1885 on land donated by the Berry Estate. The neighbouring two storey brick rectory, built in 1892, is now a private residence.
