The 'full' name is: Manning Valley Rock Hounds Lapidary Club Gem and Mineral Museum. It is open to the public on Saturdays, from 10am to 4pm. Entry is from the northeast off Gloucester Road, at the main gate entrance to the Wingham Showground.

They also have a large selection of equipment to use on site, whether you want to cut, polish or otherwise work your treasured find to make it presentable. (Not too far away is the Wingham Men's Shed, if you need a hand making a cabinet for your display - about 150 metres east, within the Showground.)

As the 'Lapidary' Club website says: (visit link)
"Our club was formed in 2009 and has a well-equipped workshop with everything for the lapidary enthusiast. We teach faceting and cabbing to beginners, have some great fossicking adventures locally and away.
Whether you’re a rock hound, a fossil hunter, a cutter, or a collector, there’s something for everyone at the Manning Valley Rock Hounds Lapidary Club."
