The original post office, down in the valley, was washed away. It serviced this town and the farms hereabouts.
Small farming town, such as Olney, Millwood, Mackville, have closed their post offices. The mail service is now from this office. The service the outlying towns as rural delivery service.
Building built up on the hill, around 1995, because the Great Flood of 1993, almost washed out this whole county.
