This turn of the 20th century plow is on display outside of the Amherst Island Museum.

The display reads:

Verity Sulky Plow
Manufactured by W.H. Verity
in a little shop in Exeter Ontario
starting in 1857 until 1915.

It was made to accommodate
"Grampa"
who could no longer walk for miles
to plow the fields.
This allowed everyone to contribute
to the farming operation.
