This office building is a 1960s style two-storey flat-roofed brick and glass construction on a bank above the public car parks and overlooks the Riverside Meadows recreation area, children's playground and Amusement parks.
Stourport-on-Severn lies on the banks of the River Severn at the point where the Staffordshire and Worcestershire meets the river. Before 1771 when the canal arrived Stourport was just a small village called Lower Mitton. Once the canal opened Stourport grew and became the only inland port of it's type.
The Civic Centre which houses the Council offices, the Library, the Coroner's Court and "The Civic" a hall for shows, parties etc.
Stourport in now an inland holiday town with extensive facilities for caravanning, canal barge hire, amusement parks and picnic areas.
