This bell is located in the Naval Museum at Nauticus in Norfolk, Virginia. The bell belonged to the USS Orion AS-11 which was commissioned on September 30th, 1943 and decommissioned on September 30th, 1993. At the time of the decommissioning she was the oldest active ship in the US Navy.

During World War II she repaired or tendered over 790 ships around Saipan, Australia and Indonesia including 24 submarines.
